I have only played two mouthpieces in 30 years, a Marcinkiewicz 9 and a Bobby Shew 2 which is also made by Marcinkiewicz. I sent KO an email and asked him what he would recommend I try from Stomvi. I got the s6a vr flex mouthpiece on Saturday and by Sunday I had it as my primary mouthpiece. It was an easy switch with minimal adjustment. I was able to increase my range while playing with less air which is what my goal was for this mouthpiece. I also did not lose any flexibility. I could not tell much difference on which flex coupler mattered (4, 4.5 or 5) when I played the horn. The key for my playing was that the higher notes were easier to play and I didnt have to make a major adjustment from the previous mouthpieces. This mouthpiece made it easier to play. Thanks KO
