I am a come back player. After I retired, I decided to pick up my Schilke horn again. I enjoy playing both in my church band and in the local community band. I recently purchased the Flex S13 FVR mouthpiece and immediately found it easier to play. Some notes in the upper register which I didn’t feel I truly “owned”, I now own. I have also noticed a better intonation with less effort. I believe this mouthpiece will definetly assist me in my endeavor to become a better trumpet player.
