Having tried this instrument in a Master Class given by Pacho Flores, I must say that the instrument is of unparalled quality. It speaks easily in all registers, with excellent intonation and has a beautiful tone appropriate for classical works. It would also make an excellent jazz instrument. In Pacho Flores’ hands it was an excellent choice for the Neruda Concerto.
