Great mouthpiece. Highly recommended. It’s one of several in the 3 category that I now have in my arsenal. Just what I was looking for in terms of cup volume (little more than my 3GVR) and low frequencies (especially when coupled with the j6 series. I use this one for small group jazz (small venue, listeners are up close) and playing in a small orchestra setting (where I’m not on top).

Great mouthpiece. Just what I was looking for in terms of frequency range (especially with the J6 series). This gives me a full bodied sound lots of cup volume and low end for working out on etudes, playing in a small orchestra section (when I’m not on top), or in a small Jazz setting (small venue, listeners up close).

An amazing mouthpiece! Most of my playing is small group jazz and section work in NYC. I was coming from a Stomvi 3 CVR acoustic 5 mouthpiece and wanted something that was a little easier to get around the horn. The 3 DVR acoustic J6 is absolutely perfect for me! Not only is it easier to get around the horn, it’s clean with crisp attacks, warm sounding, and also lights up when you step on the gas. I find the 4 coupler works best with my horn. It truly is “Simply Easier to Play”.
