I have been searching for perfection for forever. I played a Giardinelli NY 6 shallow through college. Dozens of mouthpieces later. I found Stomvi. I was immediately impressed with their approach. One phone call with KO and my s13A was on the way here. It is the most comfortable piece I have ever put on my face. The outside diameter looks smaller than my dozens of medium wide flat rims with similar Inside diameters, but the engineering on the rim somehow makes it more comfortable. It is a high compression lead design but plays to low f easily and pedal tones roll out easily. Articulation is great and upstairs is effortless and thoughtless whilst remaining in tune. Ill be selling a bunch of mouthpieces in the very near future. Thanks KO for your genius!! Ill be saving my pennies for a VR2 lightweight.

KO and the entire Stomvi USA team have truly outdone themselves with this mouthpiece. This makes for the second Stomvi mouthpiece that I’ve purchased and I am glad to have found this company. At first, I had come into the shop looking for a mouthpiece that would make playing in the upper register and for long periods of time bearable and KO showed this piece. At first, it was similar to my previous mouthpiece, the S13 FVR, by it having a semi-flat rim though it was a complete game changer in how I went about putting the air through the mouthpiece and ultimately through the horn. This mouthpiece makes the upper register seem so effortless and from using it in various ensembles around my college campus such as the Trojan Marching Band, the Thornton Afro Latin American Jazz Ensemble, and the Concert Jazz Orchestra, I can truly say that this is a phenomenal well-done mouthpiece. I truly cannot wait to see what they have in store next.
